From the moment a child is born, its education begins.
New sights, sounds, smells and skills - with its first educators being its immediate family.
The Kindergarten at GT ALOHA VIDHYA MANDIR, has its own dedicated area within the school campus. Children are eager learners daring to achieve great things. They are born with special mental powers which aid in the work of their own construction.
But they cannot accomplish the task of self-construction without purposeful movement, explanation and discovery of the
environment-both things and people within it.
Entering a Montessori classroom in our School is like entering a world specially prepared for the comfort and stimulation of the child. It is a carefully designed environment where children work together or individually with multi-sensory materials that invite them to touch, to think, to experience. They actually teach themselves.
At GT ALOHA VIDHYA MANDIR, we create an environment that’s conducive to meet their educational and social needs. The classroom atmosphere is free with no assigned tables. They can choose activities that are interesting. Materials that enhance thinking and not customary toys lining the shelves.
The emphasis is on independence, coordination, socialization and stability. With the freedom to choose, children develop self-confidence, self-discipline, and self-mastery. |

Colour Days
The tiny tots of the KG sections are introduced to the concept of colours in a playful manner. A specific colour is chosen and all the kindergarten students come dressed to school in that colour. In addition, they bring with them, objects that relate to the colour of the day.
