The Main School

From Primary to High School, education is a journey of learning, exploration and understanding. Every child needs to feel valued and happy to learn.

GT ALOHA VIDHYA MANDIR provides a happy, stimulating learning environment where every child is valued. We seek to develop the aptitudes, skills and knowledge which will help pupils achieve their true potential through praise, encouragement and high expectations of work and behaviour.

  • Fostering  lively, enquiring minds and enthusiasm for learning by treating children as individuals and building on their success.

  • Make children feel valued and respected so they can be confident and secure.

  • Develop, through example and explanation, a sense of responsibility. self discipline and respect - for one another, the school and community.

Support every student’s academic success with a faculty that’s  truly special in the way they believe in themselves, in their jobs, and in the child.

GT ALOHA VIDHYA MANDIR believes in imparting wholistic education to its students in the true meaning of the word.

Assembly :

The day begins with assembly. Bhagwad Gita is chanted as the students of classes I to VIII fall in line. The session starts with prayer songs and Tamil Thai Vazhthu. The reading of excerpts from the day’s news paper follows. Thought for the day in English, Hindi, Tamil and Sanskrit are read along with the meaning. Students celebrating their birthday are wished with the singing of the birthday song – The Principal wishes and blesses the child and hands over a greeting card. The Principal then makes announcements, if there are any. The assembly closes with a school prayer, a school song and the National Anthem.
Assembly Assembly
On Mondays the school Flag is hoisted and students take the National Pledge. Also in the assembly, students are checked to ensure that they are in full uniform with their nails cut, hair neatly cut, oiled and combed.
